At what base MSRP for a new GT3 & GT3RS will it be considered too high?
At what base MSRP for a new GT3 & GT3RS will it be considered too high?
With Porsche continuing to raise base prices for Gt cars + ADM's. Pricing for new GT3 & GT3RS cars are beginning to be significantly higher than previous 992.1 GT3 pricing & 991.2 GT3RS.
To spec a GT3 to $300K+ before an ADM is no difficult to say the least. Is paying almost more than new Huracan money worth it for a GT3?
Is paying $370K+ nowadays easily on the used market for a GT3RS justifiable when an STO is similarly priced? Or is Porsche pushing clients towards other cars with the aggressive price hikes?
Depends on spec. If it greatly eclipses the performance of the prior 2RS and still maintains a true Motorsport engine, then price could be quite high (and reasonably so).
If tarted up 3.6L GTS or Turbo S motor, then not so much

So is a new 992.2 GT3 base price of $235K before ADM, Tax etc not too high?
Realistically, you have to consider the all-in price. Right now, for a base GT3 Touring, the market is saying that roughly $50-60k ADM above base still sells all units produced. Therefore, when you say too much, it would be something above that.
So, base price, a GT3 would have to be $300k+ for it to be considered too high. At that point, an ADM of $0 would still have buyers on the sidelines, most likely.

What I am trying to ask is
-What price is too high for you to say that is unjustifiable for a GT3/GT3RS?
-Is current Porsche GT3/RS pricing pushing clients out the door to cars in a similar price bracket that were once easily more expensive? Huracan evo as an example compared to GT3, STO pricing compared to GT3RS.
These questions I want you guys to give your opinion on regardless what the market is doing if that makes sense. I wanna know are these prices still okay or too much if you are considering purchasing one.

Practically as a track car, they are already too expensive.
Historically it was cheaper then the Turbo S, now it should be even, exchange bigger active aero for luxury and AWD.
These topics you guys do to keep your name at the top is clever marketing... But this one right here, there's a special place in hell for whoever posted it @Fabspeed Motorsport
They can make next rs $500k and every one will still sell
I do think RS can sell at half a million. But a GT3 getting closer to half a million.... What may help a future gen GT3 sell at a price very close to half a million is the fact the temerario for example is a $600K car. If higher tier more sporty exotics go up in price, Porsche GT cars can follow with the price hike. If a GT3 however is the same price as a new 296 or Temerario? That will give customers a 2nd thought.
Sure there are some wonderful options at a similar price point if you dont mind losing $100k within the first 60 days in depreciation. Historically even if you overpay on a GT car you arent going to lose insane amounts of money like you will on the majority of the other cars in the same price range.

GT3 is the best sports car that isn't flashy. GT3 RS is the best track car, period. So Porsche is raising their prices and not worrying that their prices are now getting into exotics territory. Many car enthusiasts with deep enough pockets shun exotics because they don't want a flashy car, no matter how good it is.

true. But a 992 GT3 RS is still really flashy, with its extreme aero parts? enormous wing, etc.
A 992 touring offers great experience and great performance without being flashy.
