Default Replacing front sport lip

I need a little advice on how to replace the sport lip on my C2S. I’ve seen a bunch of videos of people upgrading to this front lip and removal of the standard lip but can’t find any info about how to remove the sport lip to replace my existing one. It’s chewed up and looking to refresh the car a bit. Had a look under the car but not sure what to look for. Do I simply pull it straight out horizontally?

Thanks

Yep, its not screwed in by anything. Just pull, and when installing, make sure the 2 tabs on each side slide into the bumper slots

I have a dot 1 and there is a removable plastic rivet where I circled. The rivet must be removed and then the spoiler lip can be removed.

You just need to gently pull it out

If you are not careful, as I wasn’t one afternoon, a cement parking block at the In ‘n Out Burger in Flagstaff, AZ almost succeeded in pulling the lip completely off my ‘15 GTS.

It was nice and quiet when I pull into the parking spot, not so much backing out. :-)
