Default 1986.5 Kickdown Switch Troubleshooting Help

I need some help/confirmation on my 928 with which I believe has throttle response issues. When you press the pedal down, there is no WOT response. Here's what has been tested:

1) Confirmed the kickdown starter relay is in the correct location, XV, and is the correct relay.
2) Confirmed the go pedal physically touches the microswitch under the pedal and presses in.
3) Confirmed with a multi-meter, that relay positions 15(power) & 31(ground) have switched 12v power.
4) Confirmed with a multi-meter, that relay positions 30(power) & 31(ground) have 12v when when ignition is on and the go pedal is fully depressed (activating the switch under the pedal)
5) Confirmed with ear test, the throttle position switch activate idle contact. Did not hear a WOT contact.

6) With the ignition in the on position and fully depressing the go pedal, I did NOT HEAR kickdown relay in the CE panel click. (Should there be click? I have read and heard inconsistent responses)

7) With the ignition in the on position and fully depressing the go pedal, I did NOT HEAR a solenoid click in the transmission area.(If the relay is not working properly would this impact the transmission solenoid?)

I appreciate the responses!

It helps if there is an extra person available to floor the accelerator pedal, while ignition is in panel-lights-on position. With the car raised, listening to the kick down solenoid right under the transmission should reveal an audible click at the kickdown solenoid while it engages, if the kickdown relay is working and the solenoid is functioning.
The other kickdown system is the Bowden cable, when properly tensioned, causes a down shift with hard accelerator pedal action.

troubleshooting continued.

1) Pulled EZF and LH plugs

LH
3(idle) and 11(ground) - Resistance of 88~ Ohms- Press pedal and immediately went to infinite
12(full) and 11(ground) - Infinite. Press Pedal all the way down. Infinite. Nothing changed.

EZF
4(idle) and 12(ground) - Resistance of 40~ Ohms- Press pedal and immediately went to infinite
17(full) and 12(ground) - Infinite. Press Pedal all the way down. Infinite. Nothing changed.

The WOT throttle seems to be the smoking gun. What say ye?

troubleshooting continues....

I tore down the top of the s3, and removed the switch. (Chris aka landseer) has a great writeup on that one. I test the switch and no joy for full enrichment. At this point, I said F it. I cut open the switch with a dremel. Cleaned all the contacts and physcially see how everything works now; which makes even more sense. It's all very straighforward. After cleaning everything with electric deoxit and then a MAF cleaner (it evaporates quickly), I was getting a reading for FULL on the switch. Next step, sew it all back up and reinstall and keep fingers crossed....
