Default 2024 Cayenne Battery Fuseable Link Missing Nut?

Purchased my 2024 Cayenne Coupe Base with 8,800 miles. Working on installing a dash cam and need constant 12V. Poking around in the battery compartment and noticed the 300A fuse has no nut on the stud. It doesn't look like there was ever a nut there given the lack of marks. Possibly for a higher spec or variant?

Anyone else's Cayenne like this?

I wouldn't think others are like that, but you do need that nut on there for sure. M8 ,you can find them at any harware store..

What makes you say that? If that was a high current circuit (as indicated by the 300 amp fuse), there would be signs of arcing or heat from a loose connection.

I'm asking if other base model V6s came from the factory without the nut.

Is it loose? I would be inclined to put a nut on it simply because similar fuses and stud assemblies have nuts.

The other studs have cables on the load side of the uses. This one doesn't.

For some reason, this nut isn't installed.

This is what it looks like in mine. Mine is the other way around:

Those appear to be welded studs on the supply side of the fuse closer to the battery. None of mine have nuts. Yours has a cable where mine doesn't on the 300A fuse. Do you have a hybrid, air suspension, etc?

Good observation. That makes sense. The stud is there to attach a cable to and does not need a nut if no cable is on it.
