Beating the 2RS time and being so close to the 2RS MR time speaks volumes about aero.
The .2 3RS with turbos and MR derived aero is going to be insane.

Well that takes care of the naysayers.

So fast that it doesn't look real. Look forward to hearing Jorg's commentary.

Yep. So many people don't understand that 4 seconds is soooo much time for these guys.
Think of it this way, if the N-ring track was a 1 minute lap, it's essentially about 0.6 second/lap faster, which is a huge gap for a pro driver.

Does "Competition" in the model name imply that it's not street-legal?

EDIT: I guess it is street-legal (just a few examples). Time of 6:40.8:

It’s not. They “will” at some point make something like this car for sale, but it’s a prototype.

They said on Insta "AND YOU CAN BUY THIS SPEC SOON!"
But no mention that it was achieved on slicks. Small details...

Was the GTD Competition time on slick tires or was it Cup 2 R, Trofeo RS, or a similar road legal tire?

They claim "stickier" tires. My guess is it will be a faster, road legal tire, like a Trofeo-RS or some bespoke tire made for the GTD Competition model.

He didn’t activate DRS on the straight until well after the gantry. Wonder how much time that could have saved?

You can monitor the aero settings moving around (look at the outline display of the car and highlighted wing and front aero) and in Active automatic mode, it already reduces downforce and drag down the straight without pressing anything. Don't think anything significant left on the table...
