Default Exhaust Kline Innovation Competition Exhaust System

Thinking about adding this to my 992.2 GT3. Looks like great sound and power increase. Do I go inconel or stainless steel, 200 cell or race? But is Dundon better?

ill have it installed at Flat 6 Motorsports in FL. Anyone have experience with them?

Dundon was best on the 991s in terms of power. I've read the 992.2 won't make as much gains due to a better factory exhaust, mainly in the header. Cat removal should help tremendously.

Me personally, if im going Kline. Its inconel all day. It made my Turbo S sound almost exotic compared to a rough box of rocks. Not only that, the whole system (catless) was over 100 pounds in weight savings. Metal would glow red hot under the back side. Looked so cool.

I've heard Kline inconel on a 991.1 GT3 and it was to this day the most intoxicating sound ive ever heard on a flat 6 Porsche.

Yes, Kline is the way. In terms of cats or catless. Thats your call. I went catless on a Turbo S because the turbochargers act as resonators so it never really gets ear blowing loud. Exahust was smelly too at traffic ligjts. E85 mixture helped with that.

If you don't care because racecar and you are lunatic, go catless. Otherwise id run cats on an NA screamer.

Not quite a lunatic so I’ll go cats but get rid of all the extra cats and filters stock on the 992.2. Gonna be epic with the short shifts

Flat 6 is great for install and Kline inconel is the way to go for 992 GT cars. I agree that Dundon headers were the best for the 991 GT cars. Nice improvements in sound, power, and weight loss as their long tube headers provided noticeable power and a 37lb weight loss. The Dundon 991 header system also dropped the side mufflers and Dundon was ahead of other companies in Dyno testing and proving their power gains. I chose and was happy with Dundon street headers for my 991 GT3.

The Kline inconel systems for 718 and 992 GT models have an incredible exotic sound and drop a lot of weight. Kline Inconel (but not stainless) comes with lifetime warranty because inconel is so durable. Do 200 cell cats which provides additional power without CEL issues, and still sounds amazing, but your car doesn't stink and your rear paint isn't affected.
Kline products are also good value. They make excellent exhaust components from exotic materials, but at better prices than JCR, Akra, BC Fabs, or Dundon, because Kline has good design but lower labor costs in Romania. Similar to apple products designed in California but produced in China.

After hours days and weeks of research I landed on full Kline inconel with 200 cell. Added a valve controller to mute it as much as possible for when I need (never touch it though).

1. Sound
2. Pedigree
3. Sound

I thought it was glorious from the driver's seat. Then I heard it from inside a chase car...🤌 chef's kiss

What about the Dundon Inconel Mini crack pipe? Anyone with experience with that?

Also anyone with experience with a Kline Inconel rear section but stock headers?

Dundon is unnecessarily loud. Been around to many of those on track and it literally booms. Earplugs in the helmet is a must.

I had the full Kline inconel setup on the Turbo. They make top notch stuff. I chose inconel for its weight (the turbo's a porker) and because it dissipates heat extremely well (Turbo's can be prone to heat soak when driven hard on the track).
To my ears, it's the best sounding system on the market bar none. Send it big bro! And congrats on the pats!

Holy cow these products are expensive. Why in the world are exhaust systems $10k+?!?!!! Admittedly I have no idea the materials cost but I imagine this is a huge markup from
manufacturer to dealer and even bigger markup from dealer to consumer.

Thanks Kenny, really looking forward to both the sound and power increases. Will be great to get rid of all the extra cats and filters put into the .2. It’s all frosting on the cake after the Pats won their first Superbowl.

For the inconel it both the material costs plus the expert welding necessary for that type of metal. . . . Plus a premium of course.

Consumer pays about twice what the dealers pay.

I've been leaning towards Dundon titanium cos it was supposedly very exotic sounding with minimal drone. Anyone know?

titanium cracks, I’d always recommend against it especially if you track your car. This is well known in the 991.2 3RS where the OEM titanium system cracks
