Default JCR Titanium or BRE Inconel Valved Exhaust?

Okay guys, I need some assistance please. I am torn between the JCR titanium valved exhaust and the BRE Inconel valved exhaust. I have stainless steel HJS 200 cell cats from RedStar on order right now. I just cannot find enough really good clips of the JCR and the BRE to make up my mind. The fact that the BRE is both Inconel and $500 cheaper than the JCR is nice, but not really part of the decision making process. I do like that BRE is just down the road from me, so if I had an issue with my exhaust, I could get it repaired.

I know it comes down to personal preference, but I don't know of anyone in my area with either exhaust so I have been unable to hear them in person. In my 991.2S, it was easy 200 cell Vektor cats, Vektor headers, and BMC air filter. With the PSE it was awesome. I got compliments on the exhaust all the time and I loved the sound. Not so sure that cats alone with get it done with the 992.1's PSE and headers are not really an option on the 992.1, as it is my understanding that none of the designs actually improve power like they did on my 991.2.

Have you reached out to Eddy to connect you with his previous clients for a listen? There are a lot of guys in South Florida with the BRE exhaust.

+1 for JCR & his 200 cell race cats. On my C2S. I’m 30 minutes southwest of ATL airport if you care to listen.

Also email Jonny and ask if anyone who has the JCR exhaust around you will be willing to let you have a listen.

Where in Florida are you located? I’m assuming near Pompano/Ft. Lauderdale because you said BRE is close to you. Champion is also a big proponent of their exhaust and has put them on many of their customers cars.

I’m in Palm Beach County. Champion isn’t far from me. I’ve had my Porsches serviced there before.

I have JCR valveless x-pipe, and absolutely love it. Never heard an exhaust on a 992 that I love more than mine.

I've never come across a 992 with BRE out here in Socal.

I'm sure you'll be happy either way. They're both top tier brands. In fact, I'd probably go with BRE since they're local to you. The minimal $ difference wouldn't even be a factor.

You're welcome to fly out to San Diego to hear my car. I'll pick you up from the airport, drive you up and down the coast and even buy you some tacos.

Subscribed! The JCR on the blue GTS sounds quite good.

It looks like JCR is developing a center mount exhaust. Sounds pretty good.

I heard less than flattering things about IPE's quality and customer service. Also, heard from a very reliable mechanic and shop owner that IPE was/is marketing their 992.1 headers as increasing power when dyno runs indicate they lose about 60 hp. So, IPE is a no for me. Glad for the guys that have IPE and are happy though.

IPE's exhaust probably does increase HP and TQ, it's their headers that lose power. I've been hearing that about the 992.1 due to Porsche's change in manifold from 991.2 to 992.1. On the 991.2, headers did improve power (not enormous gains) and smoothed out the exhaust pulse to dramatically improve the exhaust scavenging and sound.

It seems to be widely known and proven on a dyno that the 992.1 headers are designed efficiently, and that the aftermarket offerings don’t really do anything for power, just sound and weight.
