Default Anyone fitted a FAL system to 997GT

Nitron have a front axle lift kit for their R1 and R3 suspension kits. Thinking of purchasing. Has anyone got experience of fitting such a kit? Any tips or pointers?

I've seen the KW kit installed, it works. Not familiar with this other brand.

I have the R3 suspension kit already fitted, real quality stuff. Better than the ohlins r&t and KWV3s I’ve previously had. The FAL kit looks possible DIY with alignment reset after. Just wondering if anyone else had already gone down this route.

I have the car graphic kit, which is also a good option. Increases the height by around 50mm.

I email Nitron about their FAL a couple months ago. Was told the 997 application has 25mm lift at the coilover which is about 33mm lift at the front of the nose. I saw on their social media there is a 40MM lift available on certain applications, but I'm not sure if it's available for the 997 application.

They have a video on their social of how they installed the pump under their car. I'm sure if you order from them, they can provide you with the wiring harness and all the parts to DIY.

thank you, I’ve also asked Nitron for instructions etc and seen the video. The video looks like it shows the pump being installed under the car which got me wondering just how easy it is or not. Guess it’s too early for the question. I also have the height version question.

MCS has something for 997s too. You should reach out to them directly if you're interested.

I plan on doing it as well. I have the Nitron r3 and FAL on my 360 and I love it. The kit is super well designed and simple to install. I don't really think the 997 needs it but it means I can back into my driveway without scraping my lip so im considering it!

Ordered the system, 25mm kit as the 40mm needs a longer shock than I have. Fitting will be done by Nitron UK mid January (my choice). Can't wait and will update here.

Is there a kit that goes on top of the OEM suspension for the 997.1 3RS?

I think the Techart kit Sharkwerks sells does:

https://www.sharkwerks.com/suspensio...gt2-rs-TECS211

Not sure if there are any others.

That and:

KW HLS - they have it for OEM coilovers and their KW variants so make sure you buy the right one. THey have front axel or you can do all 4.

Caragraphic https://www.cargraphic.de/en/your-ve...l/caralsp97gt/

Lastly you can put together your own using Stanceparts cups, compressor and smaller parts. Similar to this kit https://www.designsbyjacob.com/colle...-axle-lift-kit

I looked into these systems.
Went with cup splitter instead.

Finally had the system fitted by the team at Nitron UK.

They have an amazing set up, with development, tooling, manufacture, assembly and fitting all under one roof. The team really looked after the car whilst fitting the kit, staying to get it done so I could drive home.

Lift at the wheel is 20mm and 32mm at the front of the cup lip. More than enough to get into my drive for the 1st time ever without having to remove the lip. The lift stays up for around 3 minutes before beeping and button flashing for extension or auto down.

Can't recommend this FAL kit and Nitron enough! I was already really impressed with the R3 kit, much more than previous KWv3 and Ohlins R&T, this is just the icing on that.

Some pics lifted (pun intended) from Nitron's Instagram post
