Default transfer case again?

so i bought my Turbo with documented xfer case replacement in May of this year. car had 103K miles at the time, and the description was "car binds up on tight turns." work was done by a Porsche dealer. It's 4 months and 1K miles later, and I'm getting driveline clunks and what feels like binding on medium radius turns (oddly, left turns only). it almost sounds like a CV joint, but all CV joints look clean. My Indy is going to take a look at it, but what are the odds of an xfer case failure this soon after replacement? if not that, what else could it be?

and no - no PDCC on the car, but do have PTV+

Anything is possible. No guarantee the previous replacement used a good quality (poor rebuild) t/case.

an indy or diy, sure. but a porsche dealer? i'm just wondering what else it could be. although there should be some warranty on dealer work, shouldn't there be?

Porsche dealer is normally a one year warranty on their work.

It is your PTV rear diff - clutches are worn out.

This is nothing new; same thread topic going on here: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...e-stutter.html

Try Motorcraft XL3 LSD additive! It works wonders. But before that, try changing the diff fluid only. It has worked for me!
