Question Wheel and brake upgrade

I have put on 997 Turbo rotors rear and back with a conversion bolts. The Turbo has also been converted to Rwd

I would like to upgrade at least my front calipers to something. Is there any after market calipers or is the best option to get 996 Gt3 front calipers. I am looking not to spend a whole lot the with replacing existing rotors and pads but I assume the pads would have to be replaced with 996 gt3 part numbers. For rear does the 996 turbo front calipers work on the rear or people just leave it as is?

My OZ 18x12 et51 wheel cracked so I am looking for a replacement. Is is possible to use 18x9 in front and a 19x11 is rear. I am running 235/40/18 315/30/18 but would like to try 235/40/18 305/30/19
The other possibility is to try and get something that look similar Apex SM-10 18x11 et45 and 235/40/18 and 305/35R18

The OEM brakes are generally more than sufficient even for cars that see track time, especially with 997 rotors and good pads. Since you already spent the money to convert to 997 rotors, the best use of money would be some very good brake pads.

As for the wheels, you can do the 18/19" combo, but you'll want your tire diameter difference front to rear to be less than around 5% (double check me on that number) or the ABS will freak out.

I mostly track the car. I also have a 2018 718 GTS and it brakes are way better then the Turbo. If I had better brakes I could brake later which would improve lap times.

Just checking the price difference from a 305/35R18 305/30R19 and the 19's are a huge price difference. Guess I am staying with the search for a 18x11 wheel

I have the Brembo GT 6 pot up front and 4 pot rear BBK. They are great, good balance, no fade and the pads last forever. And the fit inside of the 18" OZ wheels

You're at odds here, you want a budget solution but want bigger brakes than the only budget solution you've already done. At this point you have to spend more money, the next step is what you've said, 996 GT3 front calipers. That's what I run, with the 350mm rear discs and have no issues with track performance. I also run a dedicated set of track brake pads...

Thats sound like a good plan. 996 GT3 fronts to start looks about $4,595.00. The Brembo GT are over 6k and are 380mm

The Brembo GT kit is pricy for sure. Luck for me they were already on my car when I purchased it as I would have never dropped the $$ for them.

Same with me and the GT3 calipers. They will activate the ABS at 80 mph. Probably overkill for a 225 front tire, honestly.

Will the 997 spare tire work in our cars w the upgraded rotors? Or would it fit in the frunk.

Not sure about the 997 spare, my 996 spare will not fit over my calipers. It is in the frunk for crash safety only. If the 997 spare does fit I would like to know as I would like to get one.

Pretty sure the 997's don't have any spare tire, To fit over the 350mm discs you need to get the 996 Turbo S spare.

You can install a 47 tooth tension bolt to fool the ABS.

You want a 12" wheel for a 305/35/18
