Default Potential Port Strike

Anyone concerned about delays in getting their cars because of the impending port strike?

A strike of any length will certainly cause delays, no question. There is huuuuuge incentive to come to an agreement here in short order. Inflation seriously hurts these guys too.

I’m concerned because of all the shrimp that comes in through there.

My GT3 is in Jacksonville right now. I'm more worried about this hurricane truthfully...

What ship are you on? My GT3 is on the Amethyst Ace and I believe it's rounding the southern tip of Florida right about now. I don't think it'll make port in Freeport until after this strike is supposed to start so I guess it'll be hanging out on the ship until it gets resolved.

I’m more worried about parts from Germany. Getting anything fixed is going to take a LONG time if this strike happens.

My Targa GTS is also at the port, via Siem Cicero. Was hoping it would have been at the dealer today, but alas I will probably not be able to pick it up until next weekend due to travel plans.

I was on the Siem Cicero. Mine is already at the port. In Jacksonville. Hopefully weather there isn't going to be too crazy...

According the TYD, not planning on shipping it to PEC ATL until 10/10-10/30.

The strike will make mine more valuable so I'm in favor.

Our cars are waiting together at Jacksonville. My SA estimates the car will be on the showroom floor in Montgomery sometime early next week. I think the TYD estimates are more conservative than reality.

Probably, I'm not picking my car up until November 13, so I don't quite care where it is right now, as long as it's safe...
