Default Brake rotors and pads combination

Hi,

I'm a new member here and looking for some advice.

Does anyone have any recommendations for brake rotors and pads?
I'm based in AU, so looking to buy locally and have seen zimmerman or bosch as options (to avoid hefty postage fees) - are these ok, or worth avoiding?
Also, are there best pads suited to certain brand discs? I'm only driving on the road, so not looking for options to be tracking the car.

Thanks in advance for any info offered!

I have redstuff pads and Brembo rotors. No complaint on the street. A little dusty. No noise. Nothing to compare it to since they were on the car when I bought it. Would definitely replace them with same when I need to.

Never tracked it but suspect it would be fine.

Zimmermann makes great brake rotors. I use them on my 996 and my Benzes. I’ve never had a complaint with them.

Thanks for replying with your experience of choice - I'm reading more and lot's say good things about them,
Still can't find any info on the Bosch option.

I’ve never tried Bosch rotors, but I did try their brake pads for a different car. The pads were decent, but nothing spectacular. I’m assuming their rotors are probably comparable. I think very highly of Bosch’s electronic parts, but I assume their brake stuff is probably inferior to Zimmermann’s.

If you are in Sydney and are looking for a motor sport level performance option then Brypar is excellent with all components sourced and forged/machined locally.
Circo pads from the guys in Qld at MSB Garage are also a very economical option. You could also try Autohaus Hamilton who have a parts dept and are usually a little cheaper than stealer prices.
Otherwise there are potentially an abudance of disc options.
I was looking at 718 options the other day and found these. No idea how good they are but prices seemed pretty good for some products and I assume if you do a search they have the same parts for 987s.
