GT4RS / SRS - Factory Front Bumper Holes

GT4RS / SRS - Factory Front Bumper Holes
Took delivery of my GT4RS this weekend and noticed that the front bumper has pre-drilled holes for a license plate mount. They are very small and appear to be either part of the bumper or drilled prior to when the car was painted.
Asked around and it appears that all the 4RS/SRS coming out of Porsche have these now. This does not seem US-specific as the yellow car below is in Europe.
Oddly enough, I am unsure if you could even fit a US plate with these pre-drilled holes as the spacing seems too far apart.

This must be state specific for states that require front plates. All my previous 718's (Two 4.0 GTS and one Spyder) did not have these (I participated in an older thread with photos). Really hope this isn't something new as my 4RS should be coming this week, and we don't have front plates here...

My 2022 Chalk CGTS4.0, built in Stuttgart, doesn't have the holes. It was delivered new in Ohio, I bought it w/520 miles on it in NV. NV doesn't require front plates on cars that aren't also delivered with a front plate bracket, which mine was not.

My (Zuff built) 2023 718 GT4 also did not have these holes. and front mounted plates are mandatory in my country.

Strange...post some pics up.
If they're not punched at the factory, then I guess they are punched during port PDI.
What a mystery. Last time this was a hot topic there didn't seem to be any non-punched ones in the US.

They aren't holes... they a VERY small dimples which are barely viewable. So if you state you don't have them, chances are you do.

Some colors barely visible and you have to stare directly at them. I didn't notice on either 718...

I can't imagine there is any way those dimples are punched at port and painted. The paint bunches up on the edges and looks to me like they don't pay any attention to them at the factory.

Both my 718 GT4 and SRS have the dimples (no front plate). Not very noticeable on the GT4 (Gentian Blue) and more noticeable on the SRS (Vanadium Grey). You just have to learn to ignore them.
