Default Help: Jim Morehouse thumb drive-How to?

I just got my copy. What a resource! If only I knew how to use it. For example if I click on a service bulletin, what do I need to do to open it and view contents? Can you tell my computer skills are limited?

Hi Jim-

Many/most of the files on the Morehouse CDs are PDF files. Are you a Windows or Mac person? Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your PC? When you click (or maybe doubleclick) on a particular PDF file, it should open in Acrobat reader.

Windows11 Just downloaded Acrobat. Didn't realize I didn't have it. I'll try again and report.

I open the readme file and when I click on any topic I get a picture layout screen. I have no idea what to do next. I sure would like to look at some content. What do I do?

What I do is just play around and click all over the place on the screen. That’s the only way to get proficient at these things. You have the CDs, you have the software needed to view them (Acrobat), there isn’t much else to add unless we go through a computer tutorial.

Thanks all. I'm getting in now. Still have a lot to learn. Will be back if I get stymied again.

doesn't matter, CDs, thumb drive, it's all the same. Just open, and start clicking like crazy. You can't hurt or erase anything. Good luck.
