Default Cayenne Headlights

2016 Cayenne 6 cyl

My passenger side headlight, all lights within the assembly, are out, or occasionally flickering. The light bar under the assembly works. Messages on dash indicating lights out. My indie hasn't seen her yet, but indicating if it's a controller, it's $300 plus labor. If it's something else, then the whole assembly get replaced for some $6,000.

Is this the norm?

Thanks

When you say the full assembly do you mean the light? If that's the case I think you would be better off to buy a used on via ebay or a local dismantler.

Jaustin, thanks your reply. Full assembly is the all the lights within the sealed headlight module. I say sealed, but ever since I got the car, it's always, at certain times, had moisture on the inside glass. My indie says that can probably source a new assembly without going thru a dealer. This kind of $$ repair for a 8 year old, 'babied', garaged 44k mile car is frustrating.... and I'm not new to the Porsche scene.
