992 to 991. Turbo-Anyone considering selling?

Nope.... to me the 991 TT/TTS is the sweet spot. Honestly I much prefer the looks and size of the 991 compared to the 992. But..... that is just my 2 cents/opinion and other may agree and/or disagree etc.

I don't but this guy seemed to go through the same decision process and, by my count, it took him about 2.5 seconds to decide which one he wanted. I'm not sure of his reviewing chops but I think he does a nice job presenting back-to-back impressions of the two cars.

I would get a 991.2 TTS. 2017 onwards. Mid cycle refresh gives you wireless Apple car play and a slightly refreshed look plus a bump in HP and better fueling system and turbos if you want to mod later. I have a 2016 TT so I am not biased . Don't get me wrong - I love my .1. Also with a .2 it will be newer and that's always a good thing. I think you should drive one and you will instantly know if this is the upgrade for you. I went from a Carrera S to a TT and knew right away it was for me. Granted it wasn't a 992 so I cant comment on that. The only "downside" to the 991 TT range is that the exhaust may be a tad quiet (objective). Apart from that its bullet proof for the level of performance you get (the only Achilles heal i hear of from time to time is the spoiler system can have issues - so CPO or Fidelity is good). I have had mine for going on 6 years and I am out of warranty and i have tuned in to 765HP and a lot more TQ than stock and touch wood - its been solid. It doesn't keep me up at night and I don't have any current plans to replace it
I think its a good move and I would do it. But go drive one and see if its right for you. Best of luck.
