Default 997.2 AUX Activation code

I have just fitted one of these in my 997.2 https://autoabc.shop/products/pcm-3-...56660f37&_ss=r and have no audio when using the apple car play, looks like it because my PCM3.0 does not have AUX coded, can anyone recommend somewhere i can get the activation code for this (linked to my VIN)?
i have seen these places https://www.code-porsche.com/ / https://autosvs.com/product/enabling...or-pcm3-pcm31/ but also have seen people reference getting this done cheaper and also not sure of these sites as well
Thanks

Default Aux code

I do not know about a aux code, but if you insert a CD and select options there is a box to check to activate the aux connection. I had to do this when I reset the PCM to facto settings.

2009 C2S 201k miles

I am fairly sure you can code it with a Durametric.

Update... on second thought, you may need to go to a dealer.... the coding is to the pcm head unit and not the car's. Ecu... I don't remember seeing pcm coding in my Durametric. But if have access to one, it is sure worth a try.

Default of possible utility re car Play

On My 2014 BMW I had car play installed aftermarket, and it works fine, BUT I cannot use car play with the hard wired car play connection AND get my OEM radio and Sirius or my USB stored music to work, i.e. I can only play music that is stored on my phone (it's Samsung, but same idea). Fortunately, if I am in the BMW and do NOT plug the phone into the connecter the car picks up the phone via blue tooth anyway, which gives me the car's audio, and I can then choose to display the video I wish while listening to the car's music. If I don't need the video nav screen, I can go to Menu and drop that screen in favor of the radio screen, to pick the music I may change to.

On my 2014 BMW I had Android car play installed, with a hard wire connector that also charges the phone. This then limits audio to the music stored on my phone. However, if I lave the phone in my pocket and use blue tooth to connect to the car, the audio is the car's audio, even as the video screen is from the phone, i.e. for navigation tool.
If I want to get the radio screen I just go to menu and close the car play feature. Then I can choose audio fetaure from Sirius or my USB stick, while losing the nav screen of course.
No idea if this works for Porsche. I don't have car play in the Porsche, since Porsche/Sirius provide nav as a feature.

I had iPod capability added to my 2009 back in 2015 (I think it was). Work completed at dealer and my recollection is dealer was required for programing of PCM, not as simple as just adding the Y-cable to the armrest cubby plug.

So you'll need a PIWIS or a clone tool to get the code programmed - some of the aftermarket tools can do this job as well - I'd have to check which ones. I have a thread on retrofitting the aux input at https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...cm3-0-diy.html

I got a code from Fast-code - does not look like that website exists anymore - I'm sure most of these sites are pretty much the same. Code-Porsche has been around for a while.

I'm suspicious that the codes are in fact all the same and not necessarily tied to your VIN - can't know that for sure but happy to share the code I have if you want to try.
