Looking at those who put aftermarket wheels on for advice and if possible pics. Did you do more outbound offsets? I'll be keeping the same widths and diameters but contemplating going lower on the offsets by a few mm (4-7) just for aesthetic reasons. I do not plan on modifying the suspension hardware, just the ST hack from @rnlst_log and @f4bones . TIA

When ordering custom wheels, most good shops (such as @SupremePower ) can recommend ideal offsets. The front and rear could use a few mm lower offset. However, the rear can comfortably fit 12.5" +48 wheels in the rear without issue, which means you could definitely go +40 (vs +45) in the rear on a 12".
On a related note, the Manthey branded BBS wheels have the same width/offset as stock. This might have more to do with wanting to keep a specific tire setup on Manthey's part.
