Default In the market for a 997 RS

Hello everyone! I needed a bit of guidance. I'm in the market for a new to me .1 or .2 6MT 997 RS. I think I would prefer a .2 (2010-2011 MY).

I currently own a 992 Touring and this would be an addition.

I just entered the market, I dont need to have the car right now ( I can wait till the right car/price comes up). Seems like these cars are going for 280-350ish right now. What is your all opinion on buying a car at this price? Am i buying at the top of the market? Or is this one of those cars that will never lose value? IMO, it will likely only go up in value as the last RS in manual transmission.

Hoping to find one that hasn't had much time on the track. Any advice from you all would be great!

Hard to say on value of these things but the they surely aren't getting any easier to obtain at a decent price.

I thought I was buying at the top last year and they've continued going up, so...it seems to be one of the only cars bucking the trend of going down in value over the past few years. I haven't seen a .2 RS for under 300k in a while, except for the car that was won in an auction (and I think that was underpriced).

Just my .02.

And honestly -- I would probably buy another one for 300+. I think it's worth it.

Got it.

Any increased desirability in the long term of .1 vs .2 and why?

.2 just has more traction control and a little bit more power ? Slightly different design?

Good luck trying to find one without any track time unless you want a low mileage garage queen. Then your pricing requests are way under.

I know I wouldn't let my Aqua Blue Metallic go for your high end 350 price.
