I cannot get rid of a squeak from the drivers seat of my RS (original seats). I have tightened the bolts that hold the seat to the runners as much as I dare. However I still get a squeak that sounds like the metal of the runner rubbing against the glass fibre of the seat shell. Should there be something between the two? Wondering if the bolts are worn - I know the seats have been out a few times.

Any thoughts?

 

They do squeak when the hardware loosens up, maybe try some rubber or poly pads where the bolts attach.
