Default OK..it's outa here:).....

We, there goes the summer season here but should be fun in Germany and Austria. They will drop it near Munich to my hotel in early September. Assuming it stays in one piece should be back just in time to store it for winter.

How much is it costing you to ship the car over? I assume via sea?

I use C.A.R.S international out of Rotterdam. They cover everything- pick up at the house, delivery to the hotel in Munich, transit insurance, brokerage and all of that stuff that can be very complex. I have used them for several cars. Much cheaper if you want to deliver to port and pick up at port but you still need to make sure that car is properly secured for the trip and know who you are dealing with.

They also do air shipment for those who want to pay the premium.

It is HUGELY cheaper to get Euro delivery like I did on the other cars, but often Porsche is booked out. Otherwise a much better deal. About $3k now, (one way of course) I think and road insurance in Europe is covered.

No sure yet of cost but likely mid twenties return. Transit insurance is non-trivial.

Wishing her safe travels Ronan - and same to yourself when the time comes. Hopefully they got up the DVP before it flooded - nothing like flood damage risk 2 miles from home!!!
