Painting headlight washer nozzle heads
Tackled this today, it turned out well. I had some touch up paint to match color of the car (macadamia metallic) and an airbrush gun.

@p993_95 Thanks for sharing your results! Agreed @xpensivewino , very nice! I'm interested to learn more:
- What airbrush gun did you use to complete the job?
- How many coats of paint?
- Did you spray clear coat after the color?

I had ordered a set of after market nozzles from eBay, about $30 delivered, wasn’t sure of the quality, got them delivered today, it took longer than expected. The quality seems ok, so for those that want to go from chrome to black, this looks like a decent option. I wanted to try body color first and it worked alright, I now have a set in black I could use in case I need them in the future.

You make a good point, for those attempting to do this, you may not need to pull the entire washer nozzle out, I did based on a YouTube video, it’s possible you can lift and wiggle the cap off.

Best option is body color if possible, it’s not that expensive, an airbrush gun for $20 (must have compressor) then $25 touch up paint, you’ll probably use half the small bottle, and some clear coat, can’t beat it, blends in nicely.
