Default Cayenne 2019 - 2020 costs

Hello friends.
I am planning to buy a used Cayenne(2019, 2020) base, with about 50k milage.
Could you please give me an estimate about future costs for next 4-5 years?
I drive about 20k/year.
breakpad replacement / oil and filter changes, what else ?

Thanks.

Depends on whether or not you're gonna do it yourself, independent mechanic or the dealer. Wild estimate is between $100 to $5,000 a year for maintenance, depending on tons of variables.

You can change your own oil for $100ish and call it good. OR a major service with plugs, brakes, etc it could be $5K or more at a dealer.

That is a super hard question to ask.

Quite a question to ask.

The car has 50k miles on it now. You've not indicated anything about its current condition relative to maintenance state or level of remedial maintenance that's currently needed. So that's one set of questions to resolve.

Then there's the part related to you putting 20k miles per year on the car going forward. Porsche recommends service every 10k miles. You can refer to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule yourself in order to see what needs to be done at the various mileage points. Given your rate of use, your maintenance costs will be significant.

Then there's the question about repairs. There is no big "EASY BUTTON" on that one. You will need to do the research yourself in order to develop some type of a prediction of what to calculate in. One thing you may have to address right away is the 12V battery. The 2019 and 2020 Cayenne uses a LiFePO4 lithium battery that will likely need to be replaced on a vehicle with 50k miles on it. You'll need to replace that at a Porsche dealership and that will most likely cost you $2k or so. And that is just the beginning...

Again, no easy button or shortcuts on this. You'll need to do the research yourself in order to put together a meaningful cost to own estimate.

Engine oil change and filter every 10k miles. $150 DIY, >$500 at the dealer

Spark plugs every 30k miles. $150 DIY, ~$1000 at the dealer

Engine air filter every 30k miles. $100 DIY, ~$400 at the dealer

Cabin air filter every 30k miles. $100 DIY, ~$400 at the dealer

Wipers once per year. $100 DIY with OEM parts, ~$200 at the dealer

Tires every 30k miles depends on driving style --> I have found dealers to be price competitive with tire shops. Approx $2500 for 4 tires mounted and balanced.

Brake pads every 30k miles depends on driving style ~$600 DIY

Brake rotors every 50k-60k miles depends on driving style ~$600 DIY

Transfer case oil change every 30k miles, $100 DIY

So for 20k miles per year:

$300 engine oil and filter
$100 spark plugs (annually prorated)
$67 engine air filter (annually prorated)
$67 cabin air filter (annually prorated)
$67 transfer case oil change
$100 wipers (annually prorated)
$1700 tires (annually prorated)
$400 brake pads
$200 brake rotors
= ~$3000 per year DIY @ 20k miles per year
