Part number for these rubber grommets
Hi,
I am looking to replace these 4 upper grommets that are a bit bigger than the bottom ones.
Can anyone help me with part number? 2012 Carrera S 991.1
Thanks

Yeah, I need a few of those too, and the felt surrounds.

I think you need to scroll up or down to where the fans are or the body where the fans mount. Yup, these cars are getting complicated with countless parts that are sometimes hard to locate.

In 2022, I discovered that a few grommets were missing from my 991.1 engine bay, so I worked with the dealer’s parts guy to get replacements. He could not tell for certain from the diagrams which grommet went where, and thought there were at least 3 different kinds in there. So, I ended up ordering 2 of each. I figured it out later once the parts arrived:
997 110 239 00 grommets ($2.39 each), hold the small plastic triangular right engine cover – 3 are required for that cover. Two of these grommets are also used to hold the engine’s plastic upper intake Y pipe (air guide) to the sheet metal.
991 624 353 00 grommets -- replacement part number 9P1-959-841 ($3.68 each), hold the 2 front posts of each of the 2 fans to the sheet metal. They are larger than the other 2 types and have a felt washer. My 4 were all still there.
958 110 673 00 grommets ($2.18 each), hold the single rearward post of each fan. I think these are also used on the 4 corners of the fans to hold down the plastic engine cover.
I applied a small amount of dielectric silicone grease on all fan and engine cover posts to ease future insertion and removal from the grommets.

You really need to have them in hand and compare them with grommets that are still in the car, which is what I did. None of the grommet pictures in the catalog or on the internet are very trustworthy.

Hard to tell from the parts drawings, so what I did is look up the part number that I Googled and click images to see the item. I found those last two that you listed on page 803-05 in the Porsche parts catalog, Googled them and what I saw a pic of wasn't all that clear either.
Are the parts shown in the thing that holds them, or on the thing that gets held into that place?
Though sometimes when you find an adjacent part, with a part number on it, that can be a useful starting point to find out which diagram covers where it's used. Aaaaand then you find that it's no longer available.
