Default AC/Heat foam from vents

Hi all, I know it is a common issue. I have been having the foam from the blend doors blowing into my cabin. I have been vacuuming it all up. My car is a 2008 so the easy fix isn't as easy on mine. What will happen when all of the foam finally blows out the vents? Is there a reasonable fix, outside removing the entire dash? I have watched the you tube vids and they seem to show up to 06-07 which is different than an 08.
My ac is cold. My heat is hot. My windows do fog a bit when it is cold out.

Thank you

Rich

I’ve got an ‘05. I eventually lost AC on hot days. I was able to use existing posts to resurface 2 of the vent doors by removing the heater core. It’s tough on the hands but doable. Behind the radio was not an option - the HVAC setup is different than on the 986.

Thank you folks. I guess removing the heater core it is. I really don't want to remove the entire dash if I can avoid it.

Easy to do, it's on my todo list for this summer.
