History:
I bought the car with 53,000 shown miles in March 2022 from one of my employees family.  His father (doctor) had bought the car used in 1986.  In 2020 a $7,000 service done including timing belt, water pump, head gaskets, and other was done. Since owning the car I've had the calipers rebuilt, new rotors and pads, new fuel sending unit, new window switches, trans fluid changed, alternator, and new shifter bushings.

I have driven the car almost daily for the last 2 years and put 5,000 miles on it.  It has never left me stranded or not worked.  I own a lot of cars, but enjoyed driving this 928 so much I ended up buying  pri$tine 1984 928s Euro to daily.  

AC works and is cold!

Known Issues:
Unfortunately, while the car was in the shop for its major service in 2020 the father passed away.  A few weeks later the mechanic who was working on it also passed away.  No one realized the car was left  outside in the Florida sun.  The car had always been garaged, but this caused the paint and leather to fade in places.

There is a small coolant leak near water bridge.  Over the last 2 years I have probably added 1-2 quarts of coolant/water

It sometimes has a hard start when the engine is warm.  It has never not started when warm, but sometime can take some cranking.

You need to shift very slowly into 2nd gear.  The syncros are probably going.  It has been this way since I've owned the car.
