Selling my beloved C4S to fulfill a new dream (991.2 Turbo S!)
It’s been well maintained - all services done at the dealership from which it was purchased.
I bought this car because it was the last year to offer the 3.8 naturally aspired engine, that sounds and revs up like Heaven.
In addition to being a great drive, she brings attention, with some subtle upgrades that makes the car look awesome as a whole:
GT3 discs and brake pads
Black trims (front sprayers are the only bits that remained chromed, they were too visible in black and looked funny in white)
H&R spacers front and rear (black)
GT3RS door sills
DSC tuned suspension controller (original control unit included)
Full polish and ceramic coating
Invisible bra on facia, hood, mirror covers and front fenders
3M 90% window tinting
LED everywhere
I care a lot about tires, suspension and brakes, so it’s also wearing recent Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and well aligned.
The car just has 28,400 miles and next intermediate maintenance is due in August (mostly fluids I assume)
Disclosure for fellow rennlisters, the car has one (and only) imperfection: the rear bumper cover had been resprayed by the first owner when the car was almost new (done at Porsche in LA) and the coat has small cracks that are visible when one knows. No one ever noticed it.
Beautiful Car! Color / Pictures of interior? Mileage on tires? A little more info on the rear bumper re-spray, Why was it needed on such a low mile car? Is the cracking in the base or clear coat?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I’ll post more photos and information tomorrow.
According to the dealership, the original owner got bumped into on a parking lot, called the insurance and went to the dealer for an estimate. Please note that it was all done in the Porsche network and I bought it 2 years later as a CPO.
It’s the clear coat that is cracked. I had an estimate for $1600 to get it removed and redone when I bought the car, but because it’s a white pearl color I was worried the bumper cover would have a slightly different tint than the rest of the car, and then something hard to notice would become unbearable (I’m old fashion and still believe in these things)
The cracks are hard to capture with a camera, but I will do my best tomorrow to get it and share here.
I sent you a DM yesterday but haven't heard back yet. I'm in Los Gatos and would like to take a look today if you're available later this afternoon. Thanks!
Pictures of interior still forthcoming? Details on tire life, brakes, Do you have the maintenance records so the next owner can pickup where you left off? Was the bumper incident reported on CarFax?
Hi everyone,
Here more photos. I found a couple angles that magnify the cracks on the rear cover. Other than that, photos don’t give her credit and she’s pristine.
My phone’s camera highlights contrasts and dust that are just black rubber or leather to the eyes, I strongly recommend seeing the car in person to appreciate it:
New battery replaced in March 2024 Trunk is pristine like the interior
Door ways are clean
Front lip replaced last year
GT2 RS sills (all genuine Porsche parts)
Tires are like new. A couple hundred miles on them
I didn’t notice any scratch or tear on the leather. The interior is super clean. Photos tend to highlight dust and superficial mark which doesn’t make this sport black & aluminum interior justice:
I didn’t find any scratch nor mark anywhere on the alcantara
Focus on the crack on the bumper cover Focus on the crack - most visible angle, between the C, H and E

Reason: Typos
Taking the car out for the photos today, the “intermediate service due” showed-up so I will take the car to the local dealership for the intermediate service (I guess fluids and filters, etc) and the owner won’t have to worry about service before the next round (I think it’s annual for the intermediate, costs a few hundreds, and the next big one will be the 40K maintenance)
Multiple people asked, so:
- The stripes are easy to remove. As a matter of fact I change the color every few years. I love the black/white/red combo and it’s the longest I have kept, maybe 4 years.
- Car never sleeps outside. I also avoid leaving it in the sun. I have the OEM silver satin cover that I might have used once.
- Headlights are clear, like new (I guess a reward of keeping the car away from the sun) and are covered by the invisible bra.
- No chemicals ever used for the interior, as the photos show there is no shiny wax the interior is always cleaned with black soap (I care about my health)
- It has sunroof indeed
