Weird / Stupid Timer Behavior

Anyone else seeing this? The last week or 2, porsche can't figure out its charge rate to land on the right time to finish charging.
Here is what is happening:
Timer set to finish at 2pm with 80% charge
I check the charging status after getting a notice in the app " charge time won't be achieved"
I look and the app and chargepoint indicate a 2kwh charge rate (I can do 9.6).
So I stop the charge, and restart it and it's now doing the right rate. When I look at the chargepoint app it shows the car took full rate for about an hour, then it dropped it and held it.
From what I understand this is the vehicle doing this, the charging adapter just sends up to its max current.
And now my car won't be charged at the right time.
yesterday was same thing, off by 5% at the target time
For 2 years this timer worked pretty well spot on.

Update: it's now 2pm and will finish about 5% short of goal.
Weird.

And yesterday it landed at 80% on time... so maybe it was adjusting an existing timer? I don't know.
