it will come with its own trailer so you don’t have to worry about putting any miles on it driving it to C&C.

Big price increase for sure. Probably bigger and heavier as well along with a lower quality interior. But people will be lining up ready to pay ADM.

It is the same body with a new front and rear bumper, so I don't think it'll be bigger. Curious why you feel the interior will be lower quality?

Unfortunately, seems like spy shots showed replacement of analog tachometer with digital screen, but otherwise interior should be upgraded.

My admittedly brief encounter with a 992 4s, when I was thinking of 'upgrading' my 991.2 4s gave me that impression. Cost cutting in the feel of the swtich gear, panels and headliner. So I expect that trend to continue. Or maybe not.

Thats interesting as i feel like a lot of people would say the 992 is a big step up interior wise to the 991.2. The 718 being essentially what the 991.2 interior was a lot of people say is the lower quality interior when compared to the 992 interior.

Or are you talking specifically about materials used? Like the leather isnt as nice as it used to be things like that?

992 interiors are objectively much nicer than 991. They will age more gracefully in 15-20 years because they straddle modernity and analog better than 991.

if you have a date who hasn’t seen either car before the 992 will get more appreciation than a 991

Interesting question. I had a 992 Carrera T allocation but I would need to trade my Spyder for it. To that end, we all went down to the Porsche dealer to test drive a base Carrera and a GTS (so I could feel the manual) and although I couldn't put my finger on it in the limited time I spent with the cars, something about the interior felt more... sterile maybe? I have owned 997s and although the interior on those is quite dated at this point and there was a plethora of painted plastics, it was a bit quirky and had a certain special sports car feel. I feel the GT4/Spyder still has some of that. The 992 is nice but so is a fully loaded Kia. Maybe the interior being quirky and slightly dysfunctional kind of made it feel special?

The leather also does seem a bit more plasticy. Everything is clean and orderly and a little boring. My wife was the one telling me that having a two-seater sports car makes no sense with two small kids which is why we were there in the first place. After our visit she said that there is no way I could trade my car for one of those, my car was special and the 992 was nice but not even close. She was convinced that I did that exercise on purpose to convince her that I should keep my Spyder. I honestly felt the same way she did but it was good to hear the same review from a non-car person. By the way, the Carrera was also Shark Blue so the exterior color had no bearing on her opinion.
