Big price increase for sure. Probably bigger and heavier as well along with a lower quality interior. But people will be lining up ready to pay ADM.

It is the same body with a new front and rear bumper, so I don't think it'll be bigger. Curious why you feel the interior will be lower quality?

Unfortunately, seems like spy shots showed replacement of analog tachometer with digital screen, but otherwise interior should be upgraded.

My admittedly brief encounter with a 992 4s, when I was thinking of 'upgrading' my 991.2 4s gave me that impression. Cost cutting in the feel of the swtich gear, panels and headliner. So I expect that trend to continue. Or maybe not.

Or are you talking specifically about materials used? Like the leather isnt as nice as it used to be things like that?

Thats interesting as i feel like a lot of people would say the 992 is a big step up interior wise to the 991.2. The 718 being essentially what the 991.2 interior was a lot of people say is the lower quality interior when compared to the 992 interior.

if you have a date who hasn’t seen either car before the 992 will get more appreciation than a 991

The leather also does seem a bit more plasticy. Everything is clean and orderly and a little boring. My wife was the one telling me that having a two-seater sports car makes no sense with two small kids which is why we were there in the first place. After our visit she said that there is no way I could trade my car for one of those, my car was special and the 992 was nice but not even close. She was convinced that I did that exercise on purpose to convince her that I should keep my Spyder. I honestly felt the same way she did but it was good to hear the same review from a non-car person. By the way, the Carrera was also Shark Blue so the exterior color had no bearing on her opinion.
