Idler pulleys
Has anyone used anything other than OE here and been happy? I normally would stick to Porsche but the price is unreal for a bearing. Check it out

pretty sure Sebro is making them for Porsche
can also replace just the bearing, believe 3202-2rs off top of my head

Sebro was the alternative I was looking at. There’s another I’ve not heard of and URO which I’ll stay away from. I’ll take it apart first.
thanks !

Yea I'm gonna probably order the Sebro as they are listed as OE. But in my impatience, I may just take them apart and clean and re-pack the bearings. We'll see.

Super easy to press in new bearings. Take them out to see the part number on them. The ones in there probably can't be repacked or whatever, likely worn out.

Yes, there is a thread on here that points to the OEM, I emailed them & they confirmed that they manufactured and supplied direct to Porsche. They also gave me the part number for the same item they supply to the UK under febi bilstein as the OEM only supplies to the trade
Let me know if you want the febi part number, think they were £70 each here instead of £300 from Porsche

As an update, I sprayed some Deep Creep around the pulleys and just went out for a bit and it was very quiet. There's a little chattering/clicking/metallic kinda sound, but it kinda sounds like its the AC compressor. Cycling it on/off didn't do much though. I gotta drive now a couple hours to go see something for work, so it will be a good test. On another note, I fell asleep draining my oil/trans so in the AM everything was totally drained and I added liqui moly ms02 to the oil and the engine is noticeable smoother/quieter? all things considered, and fresh trans fluid has made the shifting feel the best it's had, and I do change the fluid regularly.

Febi is claiming OEM? is odd, the Sebro ones come in a Porsche type-box, I'll see if I have one here

Seafoam seems to have quieted it down a bunch. On a related noted, my ignition switch was always sticky, and took a second to lock once key removed, like on a delay. I replaced the switch, still the same. I sprayed it, and it's now like brand new, instant to lock once key is pulled. Good stuff.
