Default Best aftermarket replacement wiper blades?

I needed new wiper blades for the front of my 971 Panamera. Any good suggestions besides Porsche brand? Is an adapter needed if you go outside of OEM? Or is it just like any other wiper blade?

Thanks

Whats wrong with the OEM ones? They are not to overly prices from Porsche.

My experience is someone else usually makes it and Porsche just slaps their name on it and doubles (or triples) the price.

Also, FCP Euro and Pelican Parts don't seem to have Porsche brand wiper blades for the front for the Panamera, but have the rear.
But they list Bosch as the OEM.

Yea I got you. I did that with my cabin air filter. I use the one from the Audi Etron 2 for the price of 1 almost.
For some reason wipers are hard to find oem equivalent.

Thanks.

Are the Bosch Icons "plug and play" for the Panamera, or do they need to have an adapter?
The Panamera's don't have the traditional "J hook", it's a top lock design.

IIRC, the Bosch that FCP Euro sells is the same thing you'd get going to the Porsche parts counter.

I use the Bosch "OEM" and like them. Correct attachment right out the box, even has the little wind deflector thingy.

I absolutely HATE monobeam wipers like the ICON. I have tried at least a dozen brands and models, on a half dozen vehicles, and 100% have been poor coverage or inconsistent pressure.

Give me the traditional segmented wipers any day.

Which blades on FCP Euro do you recommend, they sell several
https://www.fcpeuro.com/Porsche-part...b=8&d=15796&v=

They sell a Bosch set that I was about to buy that says its for the Panamera, but the specs have the kit at 24"/22"
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...sch-3397007862

Officially, the blade sizes are supposed to be 24"/21", but I'm assuming the 22" size works?

thanks

I'm guessing the Bosch ones from FCP are the OEM ones and they fit perfectly on our car. The passenger one is curved allowing the 22" one to fit, if you buy normal ones you have to use 21" and it still hits the trim a little.

I have been dealing with the same issue - faulty driver's side blade 6 mo. into ownership of new Panamera 4. After long search for best non-Porsche blade have decided to go with Bosch OE. They are ⅓ the price of the local Porsche dealer's quote. And no adapter needed.

Just thought I'd wrap this thread up and help some others out.

I ended up getting this wiper blade set from FCP Euro.
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...sch-3397007862

It's not a situation where they are literally the same exact thing Porsche sells as their own, but they are plug and play with the correct adapter already on there. AeroTwins, Made in Belgium.
Very slight differences, but happy with the purchase and would recommend. Have not had a chance to use them in heavy rain, but I'm sure it will be better than the old blades that were on there.

Just as a quick pointer, in order to get the wipers in the service position, turn the car on, then turn ignition off, then pull the wiper stalk lever down one time. That leaves the blades halfway up the window so you can change them.

The part number FCP Euro seems to reference is different than the actual product. When I cross referenced it, it said the blade lengths were 24"/22". What actually arrive was the correct length of 24"/21"

The left wiper was the OEM, the right was the Aero twin

I am having an issue - ever since I bought my 2018 Panamera the drivers side wiper blade has ‘hit’ the drivers side A pillar on the top of its path. I installed the new wipers I got from FCP, the same as above, and now it is worse - it seems that the previous owner put the 24” blade on the passenger side and the small one on the drivers side, as it hits the A pillar less like that.

I assume the wiper blade is off its alignment, but wanted to know if anyone else has the same problem. Thanks!
