Default Is someone taking the pi$$

I was in my local Porsche dealer (Cape Town) to collect my wonderful C2 991.2, which needed new rear wheel bearings. While I was waiting for it to be finished, I had a quick roll around the showroom. Some nice cars (there was a 991.2 GT3 4.0 being collected by a new owner (lucky chap - just hope he does a few more km than the first owner 1100km is a joke). But I came across what could be the worst colour combination. On a 991.2 Turbo S Cabriolet…. Yellow over Red. With “matching” yellow dials and seat belts. Not kidding! Who? Why? What a shame!!

They may have been going for this look. I agree that is doesn't work as well on a street car.

Well that’s special….of all the interior colors you could have chosen with the yellow. Even a shade of green would have been better.

To each their own though - it was that person’s money.

Wow. I’m not a fan of red interiors at all but that’s truly next level bad, even worse than blue/red combos.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that combination …

Another example. Not that I would choose it but to each his own. I'm pretty tired of gray metallic cars with black interiors.

I wonder if that was a customer spec order or factory delivery that was purchased for the showroom floor. I've always wondered who at Porsche decides the factory colors and options on a car that is a dealer factory delivery. What determines the decision?
