This is going to be very short and to the point - HOLY ****.

Run, don't walk RUN and purchase the Softronic tune for these cars. I have a base 991.2 and while it was fun with the stock tune, the Softronic tune WAKES this car up like nothing else. I have a 2017 M3 which is my daily and my go to car for when I want to go really quick (because those cars are monsters) but now with the tune on my 911, the M3 will likely get used less and less.

It is unbelievable how much of difference the tune makes. Go get it!

I have the same tune on my base and love it also
It has such a linear power band it does not fell like a turbo car.

It woke up my T as well! And I have a Softronic tune on the 981 spyder as well. Throttle response to SO much better in both.

Will definitely report back. Was suppose to arrive today but I was foiled by USPS. Will be here tomorrow. Hopefully I can get the file back to Softronics before close of business so they can get me the tune file back before the weekend.

Are you doubting noticing an extra 100+hp or doubting tunes on turbo motors make that much of a difference?

I’m sure the S will get similar advantage? Based on the flat torque curve, there has to be power there ready to be had. What about the PDK? Is it remapped? Any long term experience on reliability of the PDK?

FVD Brombacher's shop/development car is a 2017 GTS with over 100hp over stock, no issues with the PDK in 5+ years.

I must admit I am a complete computer illiterate and had some trouble navigating the process on a laptop PC I only use for car stuff as all my other computers, phone etc are apples. I think Scott was very patient with all my emails, but finally remoted in on my laptop and helped get the all files in the proper format. The actual process flashing the car is pretty easy, just scary sitting there watching your dash light up like a nuclear meltdown! Very comforting when the car starts after getting finished!

Softronic is awesome. I am really happy with the tune on my T.

My only "wish" would be able to fix the auto blip or turn it off in sport mode. Since new the car does a really strange thing where it tries to blip on the upshift between first and second and makes me feel like a 16 year old. It has nothing to do with the tune but in the future might be something I call Scott about to just turn it off.
