The Bay Area 718 Meetup & Drive Thread
attention all Spyder owners (and others) in the Bay Area!
myself @Larry Cable @cybers3c and @Dave I are going to get together Saturday January 7th 2023 for a "Spyder Drive" around 84, 1, 82 & 35.
- start here: https://goo.gl/maps/Wz9FMDiHPEch9wJM7 (Park & Ride, 280 & 84)
- take 82 up to Alice's
- then down to Rt1 at San Gregorio
- Rt1N to 92
- 92E to 35
- 35S back to Alice's for brunch/lunch (parking permitting)
proposed start time is 10am.

Enjoy, I love that drive through Portola Valley. My girlfriends boss let me test drive his 981 Boxster GTS to decide if I wanted Manual or PDK before ordering my GT4 and the roads there are just fantastic.

we could always crash this PCA-GGR event:
The “Porsche Brunch," at Alice's Restaurant on Skyline (17288 Skyline Blvd), Woodside) is held the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. The brunch welcomes all Porsches for a great breakfast and social mixer. Getting there through the mountains above Woodside is really half the fun and the omelets are voluminous...check it out. Make sure to introduce yourselves to the coordinators and long-time Boxster (now Cayman) owners George and Carol Grialou when you get there.
