Configurator in Canada is updating. Arctic grey added, Spyder (for example) up $6k CDN. Cayman GTS 4.0 up $3600

They shoulda called me for advice on the additional color. I would have gone Brewster or Olive Green, or a deeeeeep non-metallic blue. No need for another shade of grey.

But I guess that would be very unkind to the guys that ordered those colors as paint to sample and probably wouldn’t happen for that reason.

To borrow from Jim Nabors and his TV character - “surprise, surprise, surprise”. Reload the config you just did yesterday and then accept the new pricing - for the new model year. I just opened a couple BGTS configs I had created and “surprise” - prices have increased and the model year has rolled over!

I'm still surprised that they have Frozen Berry Metallic. I think I've only seen one person on the forums post that they got FBM. It doesn't seem to be a very popular color by a huge margin. I would have suggested a color in the orange, purple, or dark green spectrum and taken out FBM. I guess it was an given that Arctic Grey was going to be added by they could have added one more color if MY23 is in fact the last year of production.

Tho US base price increased over 3k, seat options are lower priced so I came out about 1800 more net

I saw this at a dealer about a month and a half ago when I was picking up my frunk and trunk liners. The part itself wasn't too expensive but the install quote is what got me. I think the price was a couple hundred of dollars but the install was something in the $1500 range. If anybody has this installed, can you start a new thread and share your thoughts on the product and the implementation. Some questions, I'd like answered. Does it record 24/7? Can it be set to record automatically every time the car turns on or do you have to start recording manually? Does it use SD card or does it have internal memory?

Base Price: $106,500 + $1250 (D&H) = $107,750. So an increase of $5200 from MY22. 5.07% increase.
