With the incoming GT3, I'm looking at options for a garage lift system to stack a car above another in one of the bays.
Anyone have positive experiences?
Anything to avoid, etc?

Looks like I need to upgrade the garage door opener too. Would be nice to find a turn-key install/purchase solution.

Shipping to a local installer (save some delivery $) and having them do the install from top to bottom. I think it's $850 total for their service.

I installed this one a few months ago to make room for my GT3. I'm really good at buying Porsches but terrible at selling them. They are like children to me. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I got a Direct Pro Lift 8S. Lifts 8k pounds. $2700 plus $600 rolling jack since I plan on also doing my own maintenance on these cars. (That's the only way I can afford three). Uses 120V so I don't have to deal with air compressors or 240V motors and don't have to install a separate electrical connection. The company set up delivery and install for me - $1300. (driver had to drive from TX to NOLA) It was turn key for me at $4600.
I would have gotten a Bendpak - they are better but more expensive. This is the only four post lift that I could find to stack two Porsches (~50 inches high each) in a garage with a ceiling of only 108".

I've been very happy with my Challenger 4-post lift. Went with Challenger because it's U.S. made out of U.S. materials, it's ALI-certified, and it doesn't require an air tank to disengage the locking mechanism.
Here's an overview of it if you have 20 minutes to kill. I apologize for the unenthusiastic delivery. It was my first ever video and is a bit cringey...

American Custom Lifts. M1 single post lift. Nice heavy duty system.
American built. I have had mine for 5 years no issues. Pricey but worth it if you have a high ceiling.

Backyard Buddy 4-post life - has served me well thus far. Sits on racedeck tile flooring and havent any issues - can move it with the optional wheels by myself.

@rosenbergendo i see your setup in your avatar. do you mind me asking how tall your garage ceiling is?
or if anyone else has stacked two 992's with 9'6". i'll also get some consultation from a vendor but just trying to get a feel if im chasing a dream. thanks. i like not having to do any electrical or air compressors.
