I'm not associated with kroon in any way. I purchased the first harness made for my 87 944 turbo. The process was very easy. I shipped him my original harness that was in horrible condition and they tore it down to completely map it in every way, even the same color wires as original. While he had it, I had him add a switched power wire to the AFM connector for an easy way to power a maf kit. The harness arrived packed extremely well and was absolutely fantastic. Here's pictures:
It's really the only solution that's as good if not better than stock without doing it yourself. The Lindsey kits are cost effective for sure but require you to piece together everything on your own and is not a 100% replacement. In my experience the fire braid coverings do not seem to hold up well after a few years. But this is very subjective to your cars environment.
The original harness lasted 30+ years and I'll be satisfied if the kroon harness at least matches that.

Last time I checked with Porsche too buy a new engine harness they were 12500 Swedish kronor which is about 1340 USD so price is fair in my book considering the work involved. Ofcoarse stock harness is NLA since forever...
That is cheap for the work I imagine is involved in making one. Luckily my Electromotive ECU came with a new harness but if I didn’t go stand-alone I’d definitely be in the market for one, my old one literally fell apart in places as I removed it. Good work and thank you for supporting our cars!
I saw an early prototype and agree they do an exceptionally good job of replicating the factory harness. Notice that they use the factory-correct wires, connectors and boots everywhere, unlikely Lindsey and others who use functionally compatible parts that bear little resemblance to the factory. For example, Kroon uses the vintage-style 'Junior Timer' connectors in the correct colors (with removable spring clip) with long rubber boots -- just like the factory-- rather than the modern black spring-loaded 'Junior POWER Timer' connectors with short rubber boots that everyone else uses. Their attention to detail is outstanding. If you are after originality and quality, these are by far the best harnesses I've seen. An eagle-eyed concours judge "might" be able to spot a difference but he'd really have to know what to look for. Even if you could find a NOS harness, you are probably better off with a brand new Kroon harness compared to a factory one that's been sitting on a shelf for decades. (And, I don't believe Kroon adds the potting material in the speed/ref and injector connectors that the factory used, which I believe is the root cause of wires fraying and failing in the factory harness...).

I Really like the updated Injector retaining Clips.. Simple Push type as opposed to getting a pick and have them fly off into the lowest deepest depths of the 944 engine bay... From which there is no return...
If you're worried about your wiring I wouldn't hesitate to order a kroon harness. I installed mine and it's just damn good. Soft , flexible and looks better than any other option available. Functions perfectly. Kroon also customizes harnesses by request. I had them add switched power to my AFM plug for easy maf hook ups.. no more random power wire running through the engine bay . If you think you need a new harness do you self a favor, replace it.
I used to work at a place that did high level harness work (INDY, etc) and we would have charged that much maybe even more 20 years ago.

I agree. I bought a 951 engine harness from Porsche about 12 years ago just before they went NLA and it was then 12500 SEK.
I think what Kroon is offering is a good deal.
