Default Whyyyyyyyyyy

Why do people keep putting their greasy hands on my black car? Don't they know what a door handle's for? Obviously first world problem, but when I spend an hour washing my car properly... it drives me crazy.

That's easy.

Make eye contact. Smile. And say, "hey, please do me a favor, and use the door handle. Thanks".

It's education. Feed a person fish, and they are always hungry. Teach them to fish, and they are forever fed.

I have my family trained. Friends, I just deal with it after the fact with some Speed Shine and a microfiber, so as not to appear douchey. But I agree, it’s frustrating.

If they use the glass as a door handle, that's when you smack them against the head. Some people you just can't teach. For them you use negative stimuli.

Maybe they want to watch you pull out the detail spray and a microfiber cloth so they can get down your technique for cleaning off greasy palm prints off of a black car. Inquiring minds want to know.

Low car, easiest thing to grab.
Always get grab marks on the side of the door or the window. My daughter gets the door handle thing, my wife....not so much.

Big picture, not the end of the world.

Lol. I have little finger prints on the insides of the back seat windows, from my two crazy boys. I always tell them to keep their hands off the windows, and I swear it gets worse lol.
