Also got the HRE center caps to replace the Porsche center caps!




Well... originally I was going with the BBS FI-R’s for my newly acquired GT3... buuuuuuut I had a set of HRE’s on my McLaren and I really REALLY wanted another set of HRE’s for my Porsche. Soooooo I switched gears mid order and got R101LW’s in frosted champagne going on Sapphire Blue.

I’ve had 3 blue cars in the past and always had black wheels on them, but wanted this color always. FINALLY got the exact wheels I wanted for a car I hope to keep for longer than a minute... anyone who knows me knows I go through cars like most people change their underwear. 15 cars in 5 years. 😣

Here’s a sneak peek at the wheels... getting installed tomorrow so I’ll post more pics of them on the car then. Lemme know your thoughts...

Thank you for the feedback... I appreciate your honesty. I’m a wheel *****, I’ve had aftermarket wheels on every car I’ve ever owned. I feel like it personalizes them to the tastes of each owner, and like colors on individuals cars, some like them, some prefer different colors. I know not all will like these wheels, color of these wheels, or the center caps.., I totally respect that as well as welcome constructive criticism and I’m great with that!

Every Porsche I've owned has had a set of aftermarket wheels. Some multiple sets. Forgeline is on my speed dial.
I agree that it personalizes your car.

I struggled with the color choice... I’ve done cleared brushed, smoked tint brushed, gloss black.. typical colors, and I’ve always wanted this color on a blue car. I’ll know tomorrow if I chose well or not?!?! I thiiink they’re gonna look ok on there.

Alan, Im considering a set of Forgeline....but they only have a couple in center lock...will they do other wheel styles in center lock? I am trying to get the look of the wheels the OP here has or BBS FI-R but with out the $9-10k price tag....which is why I am looking at Forgeline. The Forgeline VX1 is what I am after but GT3 20” spec in centerlock.

Mike - I just bought a set of VX1R’s for my GT3 - really happy with the look, finish and quality, great service. They have several other styles available in OEM fitment for the GT3.
