Default Gulf Orange (PTS) vs Lava Orange

Saw this on Porsche of the Mainline's lot yesterday. Thought it was unusual to see these two colors on GT3s side by side (almost) so decided to share here.

Gulf on the right, Lava on the left.

Those pics aren't very good... Lava looks red in a lot of photos, but not *that much* in person.
I owned a Lava RS and while I loved it, would still take Gulf Orange every day.

I was there a couple weeks ago. Both for sale under MSRP subshooter, time to upgrade. I think subshooter’s picture captures the colors very well.

Lol. Yep. I was there to upgrade but I can only buy new and only European Delivery . Visited POTML to get on the list with a deposit for the 992 GT3. Cant wait! Keeping my other two Porsches though....they are like my children and cant get rid of them.

Good luck and I know the feeling. That is why I have 9 cars .... Next time you are up that way, shoot me a note (pun intended). I thought you moved down south, but if you are back or around, let me know as your favorite road (and mine) is recently repaved. The GT3 has been up and down it a few times.

Here are some more oranges to add to the mix (from Rare Shades I in Santa Cruz last August). The R (second from right) is lava. The 911 at the far right is tangerine.

Something about Gulf orange is just incredible, especially in person. Pair it with the history of the color and it is in my opinion the pinnacle of a PTS color option.

And then you have my PTS Absolute Red which slots right in between Guards and Lava.

Gulf looks incredible however I’m happy enough with Lava Orange, it never fails to impress. Mix of Guards Red and Gulf Orange is perfect for a dual-purpose car (I couldn’t see myself taking a PTS Gulf Orange on track)!
