I really love how easy it is to put the roof up or down!

And I must say : the sound...not too bad...a bit muffled because of the PF...

Just for fun, I researched how much money that would be today with inflation and the answer is only $28,018 in 2019

Imagine being able to buy a new sweet little Porsche sportscar for that (with ED). That's about 10% of what they're asking before ADM (and not much more than the price of the Heritage Cosmetic Package).

https://www.saving.org/inflation/inf...p?amount=3,000

And the counter-argument would be that while $3,000 has experienced significant inflation over 65 years, so has the performance, comfort, and safety of the Speedster...

I love that the roof's manual. Seeing the car in videos makes me actually like it a lot more. The pictures alone weren't convincing to me...

Still $100K higher than sanity iMO. Remember the R was "only" $185K...

Interesting thoughts from the Autoweek reviewer : he talks about the difference in rigidity between the roofless Speedster and the regular GT3. He also talks about the 991 Speedster in comparison to the Speedster before it...the 997 version.

Also funny that he says first time ITB's have been used on a road car when Porsche introduced it in the 911 over 50 years ago with fuel injection (and with 6 carb throttles before that)...

[QUOTE=neanicu;15862236]Here's Henry Catchpole on Carfection :/QUOTE]

anyone else think its strange that this car was heritage spec - without exterior decals but the brake calipers were yellow not black. Do you lose the black if you go without the exterior heritage delete?

Yeah,I don't know if the reviewer is too familiar with Porsche history,so mistakes will be made. However,I did appreciate the enthusiasm and the commentary, coming from a lesser known reviewer in comparison to the more modernly established ones.
