Default Speedster or GT2RS

Seems there are a few people with GT2RS’ who also have Speedster allocations. This got me thinking..... if you could only keep one of the two, which one would you chose and why.....

I’d take the 2RS as I think it’s even less overpriced than the speedster is.

Pretty strange cross-shopping exercise as their purposes are pretty different. Even though I'm a track guy, I think I'd take the Speedster for the best water-cooled motor ever offered to (non-race) customers and the Manual gearbox.

Ditto if it had to either one but for this type on money I would buy neither and pursue other options

this. Both are overpriced for what they offer given other options in the market.

GT2RS not a single doubt or question in my mind.

Personally I do not get the Speedster...especially for the price. Both are over priced...but the GT2RS I feel you can enjoy more and it is making history as well.

Speedster because you can always get a GT2 RS which I driven and it’s a beast, and will be another.

Two answers here based on situation:

If only two choices were Speedster or GT2 RS, I would definitely select the GT2 RS. Might not be as "rare", but it is definitely more fun.

Other answer. Me personally? Since I'm just your run of the mill car guy who hasn't purchased 23 cars from my local Porsche dealer and isn't a VIP, the ADM I'd pay on both the GT2 RS and Speedster would be so high I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Ferrari, McLaren, Lambo, maybe. I coulda bought another car with the damn ADM I paid on my "base" GT3.

It's quite possible that the 992 will have a GT3 Cabrio or Speedster variant with the same engine and gearbox. The engine in the 2RS, however, is bespoke to that vehicle and unlikely to be carried over into any 992, at least not without some form of hybridization.

Quick Reply: Speedster or GT2RS
