Should I expect to see every oil change listed? Anything else stand out?

Thanks!

From the carfax looks ok...but carfax is not 100% and unless you are very familiar with (water cooled) Porsches, you need a Pre Purchase Inspection...(which is not 100% either)
2 owner is good. last owner was long time, also good, but unless you buy from an owner you never get much in the way of service records.
I would not worry about the Flood note..if there was a problem you'd know by now....
You should keep in mind that there could be an IMS issue, read up on that if you are new to these cars....
Otherwise just have a really long drive in it and listed carefully, make sure everything works, and look it over closely from all angles, and make sure the there is no oil leakage....
ASK questions on RL we know EVERYTHING !!!

Carfax is an independent web-based service. Many small shops and even some dealers never report anything to Carfax. Quick lube places don't report anything either. If the car was in an accident but no tickets were issued, the accident repairs will likely never show up in Carfax. Look the car over and take it for what it's worth.

I have not asked the dealer (yet).

The car is 1000 miles from me...are there services that provide a test drive in addition to a PPI?

Carfax looks as good as it can.
That car has an amazing color combo. Some guy would pay high 20's for that on BAT. lol

Dealer has it listed at 26500, firm. Seems a little high to me.

It has not had the IMS bearing replaced.

Thoughts?

I think its pretty fair. Its not a common setup and looks immaculate. You are going to need maintenance on something that age constantly anyways. If you take good care of it, I seriously doubt it ever trades lower than 26.5.
If they will not go down on price than its a tough decision. If the car speaks to you, and is in the general price point of what you want to pay. Buy it. Don't be the guy who buys a deal only to regret it later. Buy the car you want and enjoy it!

That carfax looks pretty darn good.
The car was gone over completely based on items replaced.
And like op mentioned, this is only what was documented.
Have a ful PPI done.
Call the service centers that did the services. Ask if they have more detailed history, ie. Oil filter cut open for inspection.
This car's history looks good.
Price is very fair.

Carfax looks fine to me, I don't expect every little thing on there, receipts are nice for work but in the end, a PPI is the best money you can spend when buying one of these cars.

How about this car?:

Is it a bad sign that it was once corporate owned?

Why was the 3rd owner only one month?
Corporate owned...I don't see a problem with that...
I bought an M/6, 2003 C2 36,000 miles privately 4 months ago for $25 (very interesting story with that)..Triple black IMS done with paperwork.
So far, replaced 2 front tires and one rear, oil and filter, brake flush....(and of course the pumpkins and wheel center caps..).....
Needs a few minor things that I'll take care of soon...

OP. You could ask this group if someone would be willing to stop by and look at the car for you. It's called a Rennfax here. That doesn't replace the PPI, but it is nice to have an experienced forum member to actually lay eyes on the car for blatant defects.

Interesting color combo, so folks usually charge a premium fort that. There are a few shops listed in the Carfax, depending on your diplomatic skills, you could reach out to those to see if anyone remembers the car and can speak to it. Beyond that, your best bet is a PPI to gauge current condition. Personally, I wouldn’t wanna spend more than 25k for a c2 (and it would have to tick EVERY box to get me to spend that), particularly given there are so many out there. My $.02

Sometimes owners get wonky with change of address, moving states. I've seen 1 owner counted twice because of this.
