Default Selling my GT4 with X51 and many upgrades

Health issues have made sale of my well prepped and well maintained GT4 a necessity. Listed in the market place here. I hate to do it, but my track hobby days are over. This is Porsche #15 and my third GT car (first and only GT4) and it is by far the best car I've owned. See the full description here:

Tell your friends! I also have a like new 22 ft. Sundowner all aluminum open trailer that I haven't yet listed but will sell either with our after the sale of the car.

Sorry to hear about your health and best of luck with the sale (and more importantly your health).

Sorry for your health issue requiring your selling of this awesome track and street car! You have done it right and no doubt had a lot of fun. That must be hard to let go! I wanted a GT4 really bad but with the issues (tranny and strut tower) I have cooled on the idea.
We are planning an Asheville mini vacation the week of June 16. If it is still for-sale I’d like to come look at it. How much is the trailer? And do you have a DME report & Build date? Thx. GLWS.

Did you do any laps at Road Atlanta before all the mods? Then after? Just wondering about the gains you noticed.

Rob,

Thanks for your comments. Build completion was 4/18/2016. DME report to be run in the next week or so, I'll post when it gets done. I plan to list the trailer for around $6k when the car sells. Let me know when you're in town and I'd be happy to show you the car if its still available.

I don't have a true before and after lap time for you. I did the chasis build before taking the car to BGB for the engine and powertrain mods. I'm also not the fastest guy on the track!! Before X51 a clean lap for me was about 1:37 - 1:38 with top speed into 10A of about 145. After X51 my best lap times dropped to the 1:33 - 1:34 range and I frequently top 150mph at the end of the back straight. These times done on RE71-R's.

Sorry to hear about your health issues and the forced sale of the GT4. Good luck with it regardless!

I am also curious about your gains at Road Atlanta as a result of the mods.

A couple of lap times in the post above, at least the impact of the X51 kit which was added after the chasis mods.

Sorry to hear about OP's health issues. This is exactly the kind of GT4 I would be looking for if I was in the market, just forwarded to a friend. Just the box of parts for the X51 was well over $10k so this is a great value on a GT4 that is going to rip at the high rpms.

Crikey. I swear if I didn't have a Spyder I would have been on this car right away. Once again good luck with the sale! And your health!

Well, after reviewing the specs on the newly announced 718 GT4 including the $100K base price, I think my car's desirability and performance/$ just went up. I'm hoping those who were waiting for the 718 reveal will agree
