Default The last batch of Eurospec GT3 rs's

Does anyone know, how many will be built? Under what period of time and when will final enginespec be final???

I guess probably it will be exactly the speedster engine with ITB's and OPF but when will we know?

If it has ITB's, that will be interesting for sure (I'd take that even with a small hp penalty over the earlier production)

If the WLTP conforming RS has GPFs fitted then in my view it'll also have the ITBs..According to Porsche officials both have to come as a pair to mitigate power losses and reduce soot particulates..If the RS comes without GPFs through some legal loophole then it won't have ITBs IMO..
Either of these scenarios are possible yet nothing is 100% until we get official Porsche confirmation..The suspense is killing me..!

FYI, my 2nd RS has just been built and is now waiting for a ship to take it to my home country where it will be based. It is an ROW car and, according to my dealer, the technical specs they have received for the car are exactly the same as last years RSs.i.e. no change. I have no idea whether the same applies to other ROW cars.

Since it will be based in Australia did you manage to get a RHD RS..As its a ROW car and not an EU one then it doesn't have to conform to the new WLTP regs..It won't have OPFs fitted and will be exactly the same as last year's cars
I'm pretty positive they haven't started building EU RSs and my UK one is expected late summer..All second batch RSs will have OPFs fitted and maybe even the same ITBs from the Speedster..

Seems pretty clear since they haven't started building the second batch (and are only building them for OPF markets) they will have the new engine from the speedster including ITBs and revised exhaust w butt plug. Helps PAG defray cost of the revised engine and speedster production. Really curious to read reviews of the character of the new engine.

Last piece of information that I have got is:
- same 520 hp but at 8400 rpm instead of 8200 rpm.
- 18 kg less (10 from the exhaust alone, if this is like ths Speedster).

So, the only question is "how does it sound?".
And of course, it will be more difficult to modify the exhaust, without losing performance.

Im really worried/excited about the outcome of this VERY LAST interpretation of the 991 gt3rs.
Just washed my .2 gt3 and realized how much i love it, the sound is just fantastic!
so my main q is
will this be

or

Will it be as fast or faster than the ROW version?
Under what period will these cars be built

That's basically a "free" Weissach package... I will take delivery as one of the very first ones in Europe - so I've been told - June production, July delivery. I will keep you posted.

I've got an UK second batch coming this summer..If this second batch RS indeed weighs 18Kg less than the ROW RSs and still produces the same 520PS but at 8.4K revs then its going to be an awesome machine..
How sure are you on the minus 18Kg and same 520PS figures..?
