Default Sport Chrono or Full Leather?

Finally going to pickup my first 911 (super excited). Decided all I need is a 991.2 base and I have found two that pretty much tick most of my requirements.

But, the main difference between the two is one has Sport Chrono, the other does not but has Full Leather interior (Bordeaux/Black).

Both are PDK and this will be a daily driver that sees little, if any track time. Both cars have PSE so should get the nice burbles and pops regardless.

I had the Sport Chrono on my Macan GTS and while I thought it looked cool, I never used Sport+, but ALWAYS was in Sport.

The full leather does make for a nicer overall interior feel, but am I missing something meaningful without chrono on the 911 (I don't really care about launch control or the 10 second boost) other than the little mode selector and the clock wart?

Could keep searching for that perfect optioned car to come around, but kinda a unicorn with base models and the timing is right for me to get into a car now.

Thoughts?

On every drive you'll enjoy the beautiful full leather in a great color combo. Go with that.

+1. The leather really is necessary on a car of this quality.

I went with full options including the dual tone Bordeaux / black vs “S” and Sport Plus. Very happy as the interior is what you sit in and the extra 80 HP is nice but for your purposes won’t be missed.

No doubt about it. Go for the leather. I have black/bordeaux with deviated stitching and never tire of the compliments I get.

Hold out for a car that has both. I did a lot of "do I really need?"ing when I bought my car and I have a little buyer's remorse. I talked myself out of "needing" leather and sport plus seats. I miss them from my 997.

If you're planning on keeping the car for a while, I would recommend holding out and finding the RIGHT car for you!

I'm surprised most are responding saying full leather. I'd choose that too especially considering you aren't planning on tracking it and it's gonna be a DD. I have a T in manual without RAS, and so many posts state how it's a huge mistake to not get RAS. I don't track mine, and every time I drive it I love it and somehow forget what everyone on here says. Actually the one option I wish I got was front axle lift. Every gas station around me is on a huge slant and I scrape the lip literally every time I fill up ....

Keep looking and find one with both options.

If we were talking black leather without deviated stitching, you wouldn’t notice the difference. Since you’re looking at red/black, that’s a bit different. But I’d still go SC. Function over frill for me.

Leather does nothing for resale.. Chrono does.

Driving? Chrono.

Posing? Leather.

Ballin? Both.

No SC in a PDK car will hurt you on resale. At the very least, it's a negative barging chip for someone even if they never plan to use LC themselves.
Just my opinion as a MT only guy (I always order SC as I like the look of the clock, unlike many here).

I'd never buy a PDK non-GT car w/o SC. It is a performance option in a performance car. I say this because I think there are others like me and it will definitely be a factor when you go to sell.
