Default Wheel studs or factory wheel bolts

So the question is what do you prefer wheel studs or the factory wheel bolts?
I went to studs on my c2 and it was nicer using them
but my turbo has the PCCB’s.
Is it wise to stay with the factory bolts or can I use the studs with my brakes.
I think it would be easier using the studs in the sense of not hitting the rotors trying to put the wheel on. I know to use the guide pins but I’ll looking to see if there is any draw back to doing so with the studs.
I have not found anything in a search either.
So all and any input would be appreciated

I prefer studs on all my cars, no question. PCCB makes no difference.

Just ordered the 45mm rennline studs/nuts conversion kit for mine. I prefer the studs over bolts.

Studs on the diesels, studs on the Acura, studs on the Pioneer, studs on the STi, bolts on the Benz, BMW and Porsche...

Something appears to be going on with ze Germans...

I know that when you use studs versus torque to yield head bolts on a diesel, the clamping force is greater - which I suspect is similar here.

Someone with better math skills than me can probably explain it more concisely.

I would also say it’s easier putting the rims on or taking them off being held by the studs.

I just ordered some studs. Like everything, powdrhound has already posted on this with the porsche motorsport information. H&R 1454005 is the part number for what you want. They install with 32 ftlb of torque to the hub. Then get the steel lug nuts. They need 118 ft lb.
