The problem with pics of Atlas Gray is that they just look like black. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it

Very true. Plus lighting has a big affect on the color.

l bought it used and I doubt that I would have ordered Atlas Gray new. But it has grown on me. Sometimes there is a shade of purple. Other times it looks almost black. Definitely an interesting color.

Atlas Gray metallic is a great color that in certain lights is dark blue, almost black at times, with a tinge of violet. You really have to see it in person to fully appreciate the color.
I would be hard pressed to even call it Gray.
One of my new favorite Porsche colors. An optional color, with a charge of $690 back in model year 2007.
