Default 18-way seats terrible for resale in GT3RS?

Im looking at the available 991.2 GT3RS builds and I’m seeing quite a few available without sport buckets. Some dealers are saying they are surprised to hear me say they are a must have for most owners.
They respond perplexed at my statement...
Are they spec’ing these cars for Cars and Coffee only lol?

Advice, for GT3RS bucket seat and GT3 touring 18 way. A 18 way sofa in GT3RS won't help you feel any comfortable and not good enough for track the car.

Disagree.....for a weekend warrior and a handful of track days a year the 18 ways are just fine.....for some people the buckets are not fine for everyday driving.....

The 18-ways are very heavy. If you buy a GT car - get the GT seats

I'm over 75, 5'9 and weigh 150 on 911's ( any), Boxster or Caymans it must be sport buckets. In those cars I cannot find an adjustment for 18 way seats that take the pressure off my lower back... that's just me but I have damage to my lower back and not your normal 75+ year old and never want to be

Discussed many times. 18 ways are comfortable/adjustable for some, LWB are comfortable/not adjustable for some. Regular track car LWB may better serve your needs, although some track rats say the configuration of the LWB interferes with HANS/helmet position.

This is like asking which shoe is best... try them both on and see which fits.

I would imagine dealerships see quite a few cars with 18's. The LWB argument seems to be more of an issue in the Rennlist universe.

Get what YOU want. Personally I'd never buy an RS w/o buckets.

I have 18 ways in my 991 4S. LWB in my 991.2 3RS.

Less then 10% spec 18 way’s. That alone should tell you what buyers desire.

I had buckets in my 10 GT3, sofas in my first 15 GT3, buckets in my GT4, buckets in my 2nd 15 GT3 and now sofas in my 991.2 GT3. Didnt seem to make much of a difference when I traded. I've been happy with both.

Exactly, horse a piece, and let's face it - none of the seat options are that terrible. I've had all of them, and have been happy with all of the seats for different reasons.

I don't know about you, but you could put "the Fridge" in the passenger seat and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference....

It's a shame the 4 ways aren't available on the RS. prefer them to both 18s and buckets.
