American Delivery - Touring in a ... TOURING!
European Delivery was not in the cards, I was envious of all the ED posts here (Thank you for sharing) so I am making the best out of the situation and did an epic drive horizontally across the country. This is the perfect distance to pass through the break in miles and an opportunity to see parts of our country we had't seen for years.
A note leading up to this. Although it took 13 months, I was rewarded with PTS on the exact day of my Birthday and I took delivery on Valentine's Day. There is a lot of positive about this car before I even saw it, but let me tell you that all pales in comparison to driving the GT3 Touring.
I scope any prospective car for an ownership of 10 years - if I don't think I will own the car that long, then it really doesn't meet my buying criteria. The Touring specs seem right on paper, but I absolutely love my GT4 for its balance and I have NEVER felt more connected to a car than that first seating in my GT4 - Could the Touring ever be THAT GOOD?
I was about to learn the answer...

PPECATL - Porsche Experience Center Atlanta is the Headquarters and have a great facility for new owners. From the two story Museum to the Restoration facility to the Track with 5 skills we exercised. My track instructor was Aaron and I learned so much about what I need to concentrate on to improve that it was really worth it. Aaron was kind when I botched a skill and always announcing braking points on the track, tuning my skills. PEC has got aGREAT instructor, Thank you for the kindnness.
I did not even get a single photo from the PEC track event as I was so focused on it (and it was an absolute blast so I forgot).
The skid plate water course is on polished concrete and I found this to be very fun ...my instructor was taunting us with almost allowing drifting in their GT3 RS!
OH YEAH BABY!

Huge congrats, awesome looking car
Love your line of thinking as I was going to do the exact same thing and called it the exact same thing if my euro delivery with my GT3 last year did not pan out. American delivery and drive the car from the East Coast back to the West Coast! Looking forward to more pics

Entering One Porsche Drive is not so easy, you must first present yourself to the guard at the entrance gate, obtain initial badge and credentials, proceed to parking and report to first floor reception where you submit papers and receive your Driving Experience badge on Lanyard
They ALWAYS recommend arriving 1 to 2 hours early to see the wonderful exhibits. After final badging you are open to wander before your track appointment. There are several directions to go; Left for New Models displayed, Right for accessories and fitments, Forward to the 356 Cafe Or Down Right to the Restoration facility, down Left to tour the Two floors of museum ..,. AND In Front of the Track Apron - NEW DELIVERIES!
I bought this allocation from P, hence could not do Euro Delivery. BTW, only one Gulf Orange 019 Touring so far .that I know of
Not home yet, still having fun!

The factory museum floors rotate every few months and the main feature upon entering were Porsche racer cars sporting number 58 and 59 Ex Peter Gregg - WOW!
